The 2015 Ralph & Roslyn Halbert Visiting Scholars Lecture Series: "The Other Peace Process" Part 2

Part 2: “Is Arab-Jewish Coexistence in Israel Still Possible?”

A two-part series with Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish and Sheikh Ghassan Manasra

In their two lectures, Sheikh Ghassan Manasra, Director of the Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth, and Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish, Director of the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel, will present an alternative vision of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process - one based not on peace treaties or other political mechanisms, but rather on interreligious dialogue and interaction. Their presentation will draw both on scholarly perspectives and personal experiences, which include working for many years in Israel connecting religious leaders, educators, women, youth, and young adults through educational programmes.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration required. Please be advised that seating is limited.

Presented by Beth Tzedec Congregation, Canadian Friends of Hebrew University, Multi-Faith Centre for Spiritual Study and Practice, and the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies
