  • Arthur Vaile Memorial Graduate Prize in Jewish Studies

    Sandy Rotman has generously endowed funds to provide an annual award to graduate students in Jewish Studies. Financial need and academic merit are considered.

  • Abraham Isaac Silver Scholarship in Jewish Studies

    Awarded to one or more students who have been accepted for the International Summer Program in Jerusalem. Apply to the Program Coordinator, International Programs, Woodsworth College, by March 1

  • Andrea and Charles Bronfman Student Awards in Israeli Studies

    Awarded to a senior undergraduate (third or fourth year) or graduate student who is pursuing study or research related to Israel. Both travel and non-travel awards will be made. Preference will be given to requests for travel support. Financial need will be considered. Apply to the Faculty of Arts and Science Student Awards Committee by March 15.

  • Anne (Medres) Glass Memorial Scholarship in Yiddish

    Awarded to an outstanding student with particularly high achievement in Yiddish.

  • Anshel Wise Scholarship

    Awarded to a student with a grade A standing in one or more of the courses listed in the Jewish Studies Handbook. Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in the Specialist or Major program in Jewish Studies.

  • Bebe and Samuel Ciglen Student Award

    Awarded to a student with high marks in one or more course in Jewish Studies. Financial need will be considered.

  • Ben Kayfetz Scholarship

    Awarded to a student with a high mark in one or more courses in Jewish Studies. Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in the Jewish Studies Program. Financial need will be considered.

  • E.G. Clare Scholarship in Biblical Hebrew

    Awarded to the student with the highest standing in Biblical Hebrew.

  • Fania and Aron Fainer Prize in Yiddish

    Awarded to a student in Yiddish language who will continue in the study of Yiddish. Financial need will be considered.

  • Fred Weinberg Memorial Scholarship in Jewish Studies

    Awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student affiliated with the Centre for Jewish Studies. Financial need will be considered.
